Computer Imaging
Your first visit, in preparation for your consultation with Dr. Vitale-Lewis, is with the Doctor's
Patient Educator. This visit is complimentary and designed to help you communicate exactly
what you want and enables the Doctor to better understand and serve you.
At this visit, you are provided with detailed information about Dr. Vitale-Lewis, her staff and the facility. Information covering the procedure, including recovery time, pre and postoperative care, risks and possible complications, anesthesia and fees are provided as well. In addition, a video tape about the procedure is viewed and the Doctor's pre and postoperative patient photographs are available for your review. You are encouraged to express questions or concerns you may have so that you and the Patient Educator can discuss them.
Finally, using the computer imager, you work with the Patient Educator to create your photographic image. The imaging session helps you, the Patient Educator and the Doctor open lines of communication to determine which options are appropriate for you, and eliminate those that are not.
